The Budget proposals has been announced in the Budget Speech by the Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, on 23 February 2015.

The four areas of focus in building Singapore’s future as outlined in the Budget Statement are:
● fostering the development of deep skills throughout life
● promoting innovation and internationalisation
● investing in social and economic infrastructure for the future, and
● building a fair and just society.
